The Amazon rainforest of Peru is one of the most sacred places on Earth for plant medicine healing. Here, nature still speaks in its purest form, and the wisdom of the indigenous people has been preserved for generations. Through Peace Life in collaboration with Organización Qinty, we offer retreats that combine ancient tradition with modern integration tools.
Why Peru?
Peru is the birthplace of ayahuasca, a sacred vine medicine that has been used for thousands of years by Amazonian healers. In this environment, surrounded by the heartbeat of the jungle, participants experience deep connection, powerful healing, and life-changing clarity.
The Qinty Wasi Retreat Center
Our retreat home in Tarapoto, called Qinty Wasi — “House of the Hummingbird”, is more than a healing space. It is a living sanctuary where endangered and rare plants grow, many of which were thought to be extinct until rediscovered on our land. Indigenous maestros and maestras bring their knowledge, songs, and prayers, ensuring that each ceremony is rooted in authenticity.
What to Expect in Peru Retreats
Traditional ayahuasca ceremonies guided by master healers.
Opportunities to also work with San Pedro, bobinsana, cacao, and other sacred medicines.
Plant education walks where guests learn the uses and history of rainforest plants.
Full integration support — before, during, and after your retreat, both in-person and through the Peace Life app.
Community projects such as reforestation and river clean-ups, making your healing journey part of something bigger.
A Universal Journey
While our Peru retreats are deeply rooted in the Amazon, the lessons and transformations that take place are universal. Many guests carry these teachings into their daily lives, while others go on to join us at retreats in Utah, Mexico, and beyond.
